I would first start with focusing on one thing other than multiple things, and confusing the person viewwwing the picture. Another way is to capture something with enough color to capture to viewers and show them something that some photographers won't want to show. You can also can keep the camera steady, which will help your audience view the image better and help recognize it more, while keeping the attention on what you're capturing other than the motion. Also you could create a better picture by only capturing the object and not so much of the background, which also becomes a distraction.
